Overview
V-Services is a portfolio of services that applies the power of IAE’s OEM network to provide predictable maintenance costs, optimized engine performance and reliability.
V-Services brings true value to an airline’s engine operation through fleetwide knowledge of the V2500 engines in service today and using that knowledge to provide tailored solutions for individual customers.
Aftermarket service agreements are centrally managed and run by IAE giving the customer one point of contact. This is valuable to customers and the engine management process as IAE is able to leverage fleet knowledge, identify trends and issues that may affect engines in the future, and proactively manage engines in operation.
In order to deliver a world-class aftermarket program, IAE works closely with market-leading service providers for key components. Engine overhauls are completed by IAE’s network of maintenance centers that ensure worldwide overhaul capability and leverage the capabilities of the company’s shareholders: Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International, Japanese Aero Engine Corporation and MTU Aero Engines.
This approach has proven highly successful in the marketplace. Today over 65 percent of the installed V2500 engine fleet are backed by a V-Services agreement.
