V2500-A5 SelectTwo™

The V2500-A5 SelectTwo^TM configuration is a Fuel Burn improvement package that IAE estimates for a 10 aircraft Airbus A320 fleet flying 1500 flights per year, equates to savings of $2M USD over 10 years. The actual savings will depend on mission parameters. Implementing SelectTwo^TM requires a SelectOne^TM engine and SCN22 software upgrade. It also includes an optional Reduced Ground Idle (RGI) to reduce fuel flow during taxi operations. In addition, the SCN22 Software upgrade provides a suite of operational improvements to both classic V2500-A5 and V2500-A5 SelectOne^TM configurations.

The V2500-A5 SelectTwo^TM configuration received certification in 2014 and entered service in early 2015. Today it is the bill of material for new production deliveries. Upgrades to the engines in service are available and can be implemented on wing. Please contact your Customer Fleet Representative for additional details.
